Follow each step to select a subject and grade, choose the resource type, and add topics or standards for the activity. Eduaide provides a broad range of resource options, including unit plans, engagement activities, assessments, and more. Also offered is a teaching assistant that generates ideas for report card comments, class announcements, and more. Eduaide's Assessment Builder creates assessments based on your objectives or standards and offers a variety of choices to include in the evaluation. When complete, add the assessment to your workspace and copy it to a Google Doc or Word document. Sign up for a free account with your Google account or email.

Let's face it, creating proper citations is difficult due to the many different formats and the variety of sources cited. EduBirdie helps with this problem with its Auto Citer. Click Citation Generators from the top menu and then choose the type of format you need. The three step procedure begins at the top menu with choosing the type of work that is cited then moves on to adding requested information to the form generator. Click "Generate Citation" to complete your citation ready to copy and paste into any document.
In the Classroom
Use your interactive whiteboard and projector to show students how to use this tool for citing their sources. Share this website for all of your projects using research so students know the correct procedure for citations. This education friendly tool avoids some of the "public interaction" that can offer inappropriate content. Upgrade to more advanced features, to include more options. The additional information on blogging makes this site very valuable even if you already have a blogging platform. Find a plethora of advice, tutorials, PDFs, and lesson plans for blogging. This site is a great reference site for all who are beginning to use blogs, or even look for more varied and effective ways to blog with students, or even other classes. Compare this tool to other free blogging tools mentioned in TeachersFirst's Blog Basics for the Classroom . This is a device-agnostic tool, available on the web but also available for free as both an Android and iOS app. Use it from any device or move between several devices and still access your work. App and web versions vary slightly.

Create many educational multimedia activities in one place using Educaplay. Create interactive maps, riddles, slide shows, fill in the blanks, crossword puzzles, word search puzzles, jumbled word, jumbled sentence, dictation, or create a collection of several of these based on a theme. Registration is required. Your results will be consistent and professional looking. Also, browse and use activities and collections others have created. Download and print the activities or complete them online by embedding them on your website or sharing the URL. Results can be registered in your learning management system (online grade book). Though originally a Flash program, Educaplay converted to HTML5 and should work on any computer.

When configuring a quiz you will have the ability to have the questions presented randomly, decide the number of questions, and the threshold to pass the quiz, among other choices. When adding the questions, you will be able to add an image, audio, or video. Why should you make all the activities for your class? Assign students to create crossword puzzles and such for a story or unit the class is studying. Consider having a small group create a "collection" of activities around an area of study. Make the content public, private to your students, or private to all within the school. Create a lesson by using the online whiteboard and your microphone. Easily upload images from your computer and switch between whiteboard screens. Click on the Students tab to provide a link for students to be able to find your course. Students can self-register using the unique classroom code. Each lesson has a unique URL you can share, as well. Students can access your lessons via the web or an iPad. You can remove students from registration lists in this section.

EduEase automatically creates multiple-choice quizzes from any PDF document using artificial intelligence (AI). Begin by uploading your document and then wait for it to process. After processing, click on the document's title to open the quiz. Use options to add questions, delete, or edit content. Share your quiz in several ways, such as copying the share link, using the provided QR code, or exporting it to Moodle. EduEase records results as students post responses for use in analyzing student responses.

Use EduEase to create quizzes as a formative assessment to guide instruction quickly. For example, set-up a short quiz based on your end-of-unit assessment to determine your student's current understanding of the material, focus on content that needs to be learned, and differentiate instruction as needed. Create, teach, and manage online learning with eduflow's learning management system. First, create a course from scratch or begin with one of the provided templates. Next, use the links within each activity to personalize the course offering and upload files. Then, adjust the submission settings and rules to define course deadlines, options for editing after submission, and adding prerequisites necessary before allowing access to individual activities. Finally, invite students to join the course using their email. Once added, your teacher dashboard will show student progress within each course. Free accounts offer one instructor the ability to provide unlimited active courses with 10 monthly active learners in each course.

Use eduflow's features to deliver blended learning opportunities to students in a variety of teaching settings. Differentiate learning by ability or student interest. EDUimages provides a library of photos taken from seven urban schools that primarily serve multicultural students and low-income families representing modern classrooms. Images cover all grade levels from PreK through high school. Search the site by keyword, or browse through the collections divided into grade levels, subject area, and more. Download using the links provided; included with each image is all copyright information. The photos are free and licensed under Creative Commons attribution and require appropriate attribution.
In the Classroom
Bookmark this site for professional use and share it with students whenever using images for class projects and assignments. Be sure to discuss how to use and attribute images within their work properly. Use these images on your class web page, in newsletters, or in slide presentations. Many of the images also work well for use with creative writing projects. Register to create an account, then begin using the assessment library and adding students to your class using a code, emails, or upload a data sheet. Be sure to take advantage of Edulastic's articles, training, and free webinar videos to learn about all the features included with this program. If your district blocks YouTube, the videos may not be viewable.
In the Classroom
Create and use short quizzes to track mastery of concepts by all students in your class. Use this site to pretest gifted students. If the gifted students already know the material, allow them to advance to another topic. The quick feedback allows greater opportunity to focus on students who need additional help. Use Edulastic to monitor your teaching of Common Core Standards as well as focusing on student proficiency of content. The ESCEI is part of the Air Force Associations CyberPatriot program. On this page find and download a kit with everything you need for teaching your K-6 students about digital safety! Fill out the registration form and submit. You will quickly receive a link for downloading the kit which needs to be un-zipped and takes about five minutes. You'll find cover letters to parents, guardians, and educators, three interactive learning modules about online safety and cybersecurity principles, slides for classroom instruction, and a complete instructors guide (with descriptions for each module, vocabulary, games to print, and more). Students will learn basic computing skills to how to deal with complex issues like phishing and malware. Be sure to see the supplemental activities and videos. Though the lessons are labeled up to sixth grade, they are adaptable for eighth grade and ninth grade.

Next, have small groups of students share and compare their notes. Students can then use their notes as a storyboard to organize a presentation for their peers sharing safety tips. With their storyboards students or student groups can create online books sharing cybersafety tips using Book Creator, reviewed here. Book Creator includes tools for making digital books that include images, text, and audio recordings. As a modification to the above, instead of using Book Creator, challenge students to create a multimedia presentation with a tool like Genially, reviewed here, or Powtoon, reviewed here. Include links to learning modules on a bookmarking tool like Symbaloo, reviewed here, on classroom computers for students to easily access materials.High school students and your tech-savvy middle school students may be interested in the competitions where they will focus on network security. The competition would be very good for the student who thinks they would like a career in IT or computer science.

ElevenLabs converts text to speech and provides many choices for voices used in the output. Although creating an account isn't required, it offers users more characters to convert text to speech. After signing in to your account, use the provided options to select a voice for output and adjust voice settings that include stability, clarity, and exaggeration. Each voice preview consists of a short description with suggestions for use, such as children's stories or narration. An additional option lets users generate custom voices using tools to adjust for age, type of accent, and strength of accent. When ready, type or paste text in one of up to 29 included languages to convert to speech; ElevenLabs recommends using longer text passages for better conversion to audio. Click generate to create and listen to your audio. Use the download link to save your audio as an MP3 file to your device. The free plan offers up to 10,000 characters monthly, up to three custom voices, and speech generation in 29 languages.

Research shows that text-to-speech technology helps students focus more on content than reading, resulting in a better understanding of the reading material. Share a link to ElevenLabs with students, then demonstrate how to use this tool to listen to audio of a text to increase comprehension. Engage students in learning new content using ElevenLabs to introduce short introductory paragraphs from upcoming novels, textbook chapters, or primary source documents. Curate and bundle online content into engaging websites or newsletters using elink's easy to use templates and tools. Begin by selecting a template or start from scratch. Add website links, customize the header text and image, select a layout, and adjust theme colors as desired. When finished, publish to access links to share as a website, use the embed code to embed into popular website platforms, or share via social media. Another option allows you to share as a newsletter using most email providers; however, not all of the templates work as a newsletter, so look for that option if that is how you plan to use this tool. The free plan offers one published post per day that includes up to 5 links.
In the Classroom
Use elink to curate and share information in a variety of ways with students, parents, and peers. For example, use elink to create a grouping of links to videos for student use then embed your newsletter on your class website for use at home and school. Create a monthly newsletter to share with parents that include links to websites for use at home to support your current class lessons. Ask older students to use elink to curate resources used when submitting research and multimedia projects. Have students include their elink as part of a project created with Sway, reviewed here. As an example, if students research the causes of the Revolutionary War, ask them to include a link to their elink creation to share their online project resources.
