EduProtocols are a set of structured lesson designs that enable teachers to deliver content and engage students in interactive learning experiences. This second session in our series will review EduProtocols and how they can be used in different subjects and grade levels. We'll also take a deeper dive by creating and planning to implement EduProtocols in the classroom. As a result of this session, teachers will: 1. Understand the purpose and benefits of using EduProtocols in the classroom; 2. Learn how to adapt EduProtocols for different subjects and grade levels; and 3. Practice designing EduProtocols for classroom implementation. This session is appropriate for teachers at all technology levels.

This hour-long radio program explores how to discuss race and racism with kids of any age through the lens of white parents and students. The radio program provides specific examples of how to expose children to people of all races, address children's' questions about race, and tips on how to be aware of situations that provide opportunities to discuss race and racism. In addition to the radio program, the site also includes two PDF documents. The first contains strategies for talking to white kids about racism; the other is a discussion guide with general questions and questions to use with each session segment.
In the Classroom
Use this radio broadcast as a resource for addressing racism both in the classroom and at home. The program includes short segments with different guests, use the segments to divide information into smaller topics and big ideas. Share a segment with parents along with guiding questions found in the discussion guide and encourage them to use this information to address race in their home as you also address these ideas at school. Use Padlet, reviewed here, to curate and share additional resources for families. As students reflect upon the questions and discussions, have them use Canva Infographic Maker, reviewed here, to create infographics with their ideas for addressing issues of race and racism. Use Google Drawings, reviewed here, as an alternative for younger students to create and share their thoughts through original drawings.

The Canva storyboard templates page offers many different designs to help you plan stories or projects. You can change these templates however you like by adding pictures, text, and more to bring your ideas to life. It's a helpful one-stop shop for storyboard templates.
In the Classroom
Storyboards don't have to just be for storytelling. Have students pick a historical event or era they have studied or are interested in exploring further and use the templates to create a graphic novel-style storyboard that narrates the event. Have students select a social issue they are passionate about, such as bullying, mental health awareness, or digital citizenship, and have them choose a template to create a comic book. These can be printed and hung around the school. For younger students, customize a template and print it for offline use. It can be used for any sequencing concept, like life cycles or moon phases. Select a tool from the left side of the chat box, then type in text, upload a document, or paste text to begin. Registration isn't required but allows you to save and access your history. Free plans include up to 15,000 characters in AI detection, 1,500 in the AI Summarizer, 300 words in the paraphraser, and 1,000 prompts in ZeroChat-4.

Use ZeroGPT for several purposes, including checking student work for AI-written content with the AI detector tool. However, caution should be exercised, as not all information provided by AI tools is accurate. The AI checker gives you a percentage likelihood that the content is either written by AI or a human. This site should be used as part of a qualified educator's overall evaluation of work and not as a sole means of evaluation. Both images are similar in appearance; however, shadowing provides subtle depth to the icon. Browse through the site to find available icons such as plants, classroom items, and much more. Click on any image to select the free version download. After selecting a download, images are downloaded to your computer in a zip file. Open the zip file to view and use the PNG image file.
